Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

Why are you and I here?

As a child I simply could not understand why there was not a church equipped or a support group available for my family. Through a child’s eye you view problems simply, such as… Why can we not talk to our priest?... Why is no one able to help us? Another question was…Why is there no one to extend themselves to help us?

"My Daddy's Secret"

My Daddy's Secret is the sensitive-often heartbreaking-true story of the effects of a father's secret sexual addictions on his family-particularly on his oldest daughter, whom he made his confidante when she was just nine years old. Denise hopes this book will provide new insights into the pain such addictions inflict on families-and insight into God's amazing grace in healing those pains. Denise Shick, an author, speaker, and the Director of Help4Families, a Christian ministry that compassionately reaches out to family members and churches, bringing a broader understanding of the emotional pain and spiritual confusion that people face when a loved one has gender-identity issues.

Joan or John?

by Russell D. Moore

Joan asks you, “Am I too messed up to repent and be saved?
If not, what does it mean for me to repent and live my life as a follower of Jesus?
What is right for me to do?”

Show me, step-by-step, what you would say to Joan.
Show me what you would tell her to do, short-term and long-term,
and show me why in terms of a Christian ethic.
